Girls Night Out and Pretty In Pink

Girls Night Out

It has been a really rough day....in fact it has been a rough week. I have spent a tremendous amount of time on the road..........I usually work out of my home office and travel to Philadelphia once a week and then go to my appointments as needed. This week I had to drive to Philadelphia on Monday and Tuesday and today I drove to Baltimore, MD and back....ugh.....get me out of the car!

Luckily, I got to relax a little tonight....Pat took care of Sarah and Nick was with his Dad, so I got together with some of my girlfriends for dinner! We all worked together about 10 years ago and have always remained friends.......we are all different ages and work in different places, but we try to make it a point to get together at least every other month so we can catch up.

This was our drink of choice.....It was called an Italian Lemonade.......Vodka, Gin, Grand Marnier, and fresh squeezed lemonade.....it was delicious! We sat outside, gabbed, drank, and ate.....exactly what the doctor ordered!

Gazing

Last night I took Sarah out to play while Pat watered the plants and flowers......Of course I had to bring the camera in case an opportunity presented itself.....

Oh My

Oh My.....I just trampled the flowers in the garden!
Bubbles
This look is priceless...............tell me why I shouldn't put this in my mouth.....what would really happen if I licked some bubbles?

Thanks for checking on me. :) I'm starting to feel slightly better today, but still not even close to normal.

I'm so glad Sarah is OK!! That choking story is super scary! I almost died from choking at a VERY fancy restaurant on my 30th birthday. It was extremely scary (and mortifying, as it created a huge scene). I can imagine it would be terrifying to see your child unable to breathe.

The drinks looks fabulous! Gotta' love girl's night! :)

Your family is just adorable!! Sounds like a night out was welled deserved. My daughter decided the best way to get bubbles to work was placing the wand under her nose and then blowing, it worked. LOL

She is beautiful, I would carry a camera every second!!
If you love Italian Lemonade, try our Lemon Sparkler... homemade Limoncello with lemon juice (or a "sour mix") and champagne. Delicious!!
