The Bethlehem Blueberry Festival

July 19, 2010

On Saturday, Sarah and I had the opportunity for some good girl bonding...... Pat had to work and Nick was spending some time with his Dad. So it was just us girls:)

Early that morning I had remembered that there was a blueberry festival going on all weekend. In all the years I have lived in this area, I have never gone. I really wasn't sure what it was all about, so I googled it and as soon as I saw the great list of kid friendly activities, I knew it would be the perfect place to take Sarah.

It was hotter than blazes out there, but it sure was fun! We will definitely go again next year.

I think I confused a few of you with my post on Wednesday. The workshop was not this past weekend.....it is next weekend. I have just been busy preparing everything.....that is why I have been a little MIA in blogland!

As of last night, I am happy to say that I am running way ahead of schedule.....I got a ton crossed of my workshop "to do" list....so it should be a nice and easy week:)

What a lovely festival! We are all blueberry fans in this house, so that festival would have been perfect for us. How nice that they had so many activities, though, so even a non-blueberry lover could enjoy it!

Love the pics of Sarah's face getting painted - not sure why, but her expressions there just stood out to me the most!

The colors in this entire post are so yummy! Sarah is just yummy too! I'm curious how you do the layout? The photos side by side, corners rounded, pretty, larger font . . . Do you do it in photoshop or something? You have such a gift of making things look beautiful - I imagine that your house is gorgeous too?!

We are enjoying the blueberries around here - it must be a good year for them!

I'm thrilled you're ahead of schedule (I hardly know what that would feel like)and you can relax and enjoy the week. I'm so STOKED to get there already.

Get ready for that big 'ol hug girl!

It certainly looks like you had a great time at the blueberry festival. Love, love, love the one of Sarah holding the mirror. So adorable! What processing did you use? They all look so dreamy.

I'm so excited for you on your workshop. I'm sure everything is going to go off without a hitch. A fun time will surely be had by all. So sad I wasn't able to make it up there this weekend. Just wasn't in the cards. I look forward to hearing/seeing all that took place during the workshop on your blog next week.

Hugs...
