Black and White Wednesday - "Sassy Girl II"

August 10, 2011

Sassy Girl Collage
A few weeks ago we were heading to a neighborhood picnic and Reagan was wearing the same "sassy" outfit, that Sarah wore the summer of 2008!

I normally do not allow my childrend to stand on furniture, but we put Reagan on the coffee table and told her to strike a few poses for us and she happily obliged. I love when she gives us that big cheesy grin.

SASSY GIRL BLOG
I have always loved this outfit....
So I thought it would be fun to take a look back at Miss Sarah sporting it.
Click HERE to read the post and see our first "Sassy Girl".
She was just about the same age as Reagan.

Looking back at these photos, It is hard for me to believe that Sarah was ever that little. Gosh how time flies! It is also pretty apparent that those photos were taken before I really got into photography. I believe that was when I first switched to a DSLR, but I was still shooting in the Auto Zone:)

I am totally cheating this week...... Have not had the camera out in over 10 days, so no black and whites, unless you count the spot color shots in the post of the orginal "Sassy Girl". That counts for something....doesn't it??

We are beachbound tomorrow and looking forward to our last hurrah of the summer!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful week. Be back soon~

Oh, when Reagan gives that smile I just can't help but smile back at her from here! I can't believe how big she is getting...even her hair is growing so much since her last haircut.

Funny how we hold onto some things that we just KNOW we'll use again...I posted about the same thing here...the memories just come back and we wonder where's the time gone? I remember those pictures of Sarah back then....but looking at them now I can't even imagine she was that tiny.

Have to smile too at how Mama has progressed from those days too...LOL....

Enjoy that WELL DESERVED trip to the Cape. xoxoxo Dita

Reagan is absolutely adorable! My little girl is beside me as I type this and she gushed, "Oh she is so cute!" This, coming from a 4-year old. :)

Oh, and Lisa? You totally inspire me with your photos! I looked at that old post with Sarah and I see these pics of Reagan and I could only hope that I could one day see some improvement with my photography.

How cute. I am always so amazed when I put my youngest in an outfit that my older daughter used to wear. It sure takes me back & makes me reflect on just how much they have grown & matured. It's incredible!

I have a sassy Chenzhou girl, and I only wish this outfit was still manufactured! In fact, I might have to go in search of a sassy shirt! It fits Sidney's personality perfectly!

Lisa,
These are my favorite photos of Reagan to date... I think because it is so evident how happy and confident she has become in her forever family, and that is so beautiful to see! And of course she's just so darn cute too!!!! (We are dealing with a dramatic ear infection here, and we are set to fly next week. ..Seems her tubes must be out. Fun days ahead ha ha:)

She is beyond adorable with that cheesy grin, and those two little fingers. She looks to me like she's really growing lately. Loved the "then and now" pics. Sarah was so tiny and she's still cute as a button. Enjoy your getaway.
