Favorite Photo Friday - "From Camera To Canvas"

October 21, 2011

I know I seem like the type of person that is super organized and on top of everything, but truth be told........ there are certain things or areas in my life, that I just completely drop the ball and cannot keep up or get a system in place. One of the things that tops this list is printing and hanging the photos I take in our home.
This is so sad considering that amount of photos that live on my computer(everything is backed up) but, I am making an attempt to change that this year.

I originally wanted to do the entire wall going down our back staircase in framed black and whites, but I am rethinking that thanks to Easy Canvas Prints.
Hanging Vertically BLOG

The moment I finished editing these photos from our recent trip to the apple orchard, I knew they were SCREAMING to be printed on canvas.

I bit the bullet and ordered one to check out the quality and was blown away with what I received....... so the same day my first canvas arrived, I ordered a second.

The details BLOG
The color, clarity, and texture were out of this world.
Not to mention, they are super easy to hang and I don't need to find or buy frames:)

I am completely in love with these photos of the girls and hung them in the hallway that overlooks the front staircase, so they are very visible upon entering our home.

Now I need to get crackin on that back staircase!! The next purchase will be one of Nick. I am thinking the shot of him in front of the fire station door would look FAB in canvas.

If you are looking to add a little WOW to your wall and turn your PHOTOS TO CANVAS, click HERE and check out Easy Canvas Prints, but before you do that, you will want to go to their Facebook Page and "Like" them to receive 50% off your next order and free shipping.

My camera has not seen much action lately, so my "favorites" were not necessarily taken this week, but they happened to be placed on my wall this week.
That counts, doesn't it?

Happy Weekend Everyone!

That looks gorgeous!

I know one would look great any number of locations in my house as well. Choosing a picture would be the hardest part!

Those are beautiful Lisa! I've got to try that someday! I smiled at your post... if that's the only place you're not on tope of the ball you're not doing bad at all! Funny, you are so super organized; I simply don't know how you do it all! Have a wonderful weekend, tara

Thank you for the motivation Lisa; like you I rarely get anything printed and have had a canvas wishlist in mind for years. I finally went ahead and placed the order today. I couldn't pass up the 50% off coupon. :-)

Course it counts, Lisa!
More gorgeous photos, and i too love the canvas, though I hadn't thought about the easy bit of not having to look for the right size frame.
you do seem like a super-organised person, so it's a relief to hear that you're not 100% there yet!
Have a super weekend!

Ooo....they look beautiful - the shots and the canvas. I'd love to do a few here. Wonder if they ship to Canada. I'll check it out.

Have a great week-end! (We're finally getting to the apple orchard this week-end. A promise is a promise and Dahlia won't let me forget it so that's what we're doing.)

Wowza!! Those are gorgeous...I have to say that I think I could have canvas' all over my house. I bought one right off the bat when I first was learning my DSLR and even then...it is one of my favorites of my girls. No I invested in a 20X30 of Nick and I for our bedroom. Where else could I put the ;) Check out groupon...they always have a coupon for Canvas on Demand and it is $40 for a 16X20 which is normally $125 and then if you want it bigger or a different size and it is more you only have to pay the difference from the $125. Love these two pictures...the colors look great with your walls! Have a great weekend...I bet she loved your surprise!

Thanks for this product review! It couldn't come at a better time for me. I just took 7 pieces of artwork we bought in China to be custom framed yesterday. AND WITH a 60% off coupon the total was staggering. I love framing my photographs but the cost is getting out of control. Between the cost to enlarge and then frame jeesh. It is killing me. I have been meaning to do my FRONT stairs - well as a way to hide wallpaper I hate. Will give this a shot this week! AND I like that they do custom sizes. I would like to try to frame some hipstamatic prints too. xoxo

So beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I plan to order canvases soon, but I am having trouble picking what photos to print. I guess there are worse problems to have :o).

Thanks for the 50% off tip! I've ordered canvas wraps from mpix before and really liked them... but I'll have to try this company. If the quality is what you say, this is a super deal! Thanks again!

Wow, these really do look great! Thanks for the heads-up on the discount and the links... hopefully 'after' I take your classes, I will have some pics more worthy of printing on canvas, as I LOVE the ones you did! Can't wait!!!! :)

My canvases just arrived and are beautiful! Only problem... they're huge! Ha! Just seem bigger than I imagined. Will keep one for myself and give one to my parents for Christmas. Thanks for the great deal!
