Lost in the Archives... Bedtime Stories

March 8, 2013

Can I hold the light BLOG
Our nighttime routine has sort of changed a bit and instead of us reading the girls a bedtime story,
Sarah has been the one who wants to do the reading.

My turn BLOG
Since starting Kindergarten, Sarah has become quite the little reader.
She is very into her books and is always up for the challenge of learning a new word or two.
It makes us proud to see her so interested in reading, writing, and spelling.
When these two are not reading books, they can be found playing teacher!
Guess who is the teacher?
You got it... Miss Sarah:)

I took these photos a few weeks ago and have had them sitting on my computer....
thought today would be a good day to share since my camera has not come out since Alys Beach.
We are headed back to the dr with Reagan to have her hand checked. Hoping to get a good report.

Have a fabulous Friday friends!
xoxo

Oh how these pictures bring delight to this MOMMY of a KINDERGARTNERS heart!!
I can definitely feel the MOMMY admiration!! Bre also LOVES reading everything!! Her favorite book is BROWN BEAR, BROWN BEAR, WHAT DO YOU SEE. She has such a look of accomplishment as she reads this story!

My favorite memory was when she first started reading. I remember when we approached a STOP sign and she proudly point to it and would shout "It says STOP"! I would "CLAP" and say "YOU ARE CORRECT! It does say "STOP".

Then when we get to a RED LIGHT, she would get all excited and say "Now Mom wait to see if the word "GREEN" or the word "GO" shows up first OK!!!

Two little cuties under the covers!
Sarah is great to be able to read the bedtime stories; reading and a love of books is such a great gift to give a child. My 3 all love books, and it brings me immense pleasure to see them enjoy reading. It makes all learning so much easier!
Hope all went well today with R...
