Who would have thought.......

......that the trash dumpster at the construction site across the street would make such a great background for pictures!!

Dumpster Dude- Fixed

The weather this weekend was not the best, it was very rainy and overcast. I knew that it was not going to be a great weekend for any photoshoots, but I thought I might be able to get a quick session in with Nick.

My original plan was to try to get him across the street in front of the barn like I did with Sarah a couple weeks ago, but when we walked over, we were greeted by weeds that had grown over two feet high. It was time for plan B.......

I turned around and started walking back towards our house, when I saw this big garbage dumpster on one of the new construction lots in our neihborhood. Obviously, if I had Sarah with me, this would not have been a great location, but for Nick it was perfct. All he had to do was stand near it or against it and it gave great interest to his pics:)

It is so much fun trying out new things and new locations...... You don't need anything fancy, you don't even have to buy props, or visit a studio.....sometimes all you need to do is check out what is around you!!!

SO TRUE! There are great locations EVERYWHERE! I'm starting to notice them all the time now. When I'm out driving I'll see an old building or somebody's garage door with flaking paint, and think, PICTURE! :)

Love the pics of Nick! You are a true pro, Lisa - I'm so proud of you and your new biz!

Hi Lisa...The photos of Nick are rock'in! He is truly one handsome young man ;) As for your post below...I must admit...the martini glass photo is truly my all time favorite! You need to get that one printed and displayed in a frame ~ it is truly a piece of art....

If you get a chance, give me a buzz Friday (tomorrow we have to be out of the house - early oh how is sucks!) Love Ya & Miss Ya :)

Nick looks great against that backdrop! The photographer who took our engagement photos brought us to the ally behind her studio and the photos turned out beautifully...so who needs fancy? :)
