Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day3700
Happy Father's Day!!
We are starting ours off with a little dessert for breakfast.....after all, it is a special occasion:)

It is STILL raining here, so we will be stuck indoors. Pat has decided to spend the day eating "manly" foods and enjoying some golf on the big screen.......

The menu consists of Homemade Sausage Sandwiches with Peppers and Onions and a side of Sweet Potato Fries......YUMMMM!!

As for dessert/breakfast......it is not too manly, but it doesn't matter....it is so SINFULLY GOOD.....

Fresh Berries with Cannoli Cream
Fruit with Cannoli Creamwm700
Here is a closer look..... I tossed fresh berries in a bowl with a little sugar and juice of one lemon. Then, I made the Cannoli Cream.....it was super easy, Whipping Cream, Ricotta Cheese, Confectioners Sugar, and a dash of Cinnamon. Also sprinkled some slivered almonds on top for a little crunch:)

If you want the exact recipe, click HERE....I can always depend on my girl Giada for an incredible recipe!!

Okay.....off to enjoy my day with one of the most wonderful father's I know......my hubby:)

Happy Father's Day to you all!!

The Tongginator loves Giada almost as much as she loves Tyler. Heh.

Happy Father's Day to your hubby. It's a tough on at our house this year - first one without my father-in-law.

Happy Father's Day Pat! Sounds like you all have a relaxing day planned. The breakfast looks delish! We had French toast in our house this morning. Definitely not as pretty as your breakfast - but it was still yummy! :)

Tell Pat Happy Father's Day from us! I must admit - I am truly loving life down here in Wash DC (I don't think I'll ever go back to live in PA again). We must talk sometime this week. Call me (I still hve the same cell number). This week "should" be pretty calm for us...seeing how the past two weeks have been nothing but crazy for me! Love you & miss you...

BTW...when are you making a trip down? You got to take the kids to the DC Zoo - it is amazing and we are only a hop-skip-and a jump away from DC! We been in and out all weekend so far...you just gotta come down.

I made Shane breakfast in bed...waffles and milk...didn't look near this good! YuM!

Just took a peek at your last few posts, the pictures are awesome. I expecially love...we them all but the one of all the little girls together really caught my eye.
Wish we lived closer. I'd love to have some of Jazmyn done when we get her home.

Ps. Thought I'd up date you on my bro-in-law's MRI...it came back completly CLEAR! Dr. even gave him his licence back...so long as he doesn't drive with the kidlings in the car or go too far alone. Praying it never comes back! It sure didn't look this good this time last year.

Oh.No.You.Did.Not. get that fancy with your hubby! Now, I think I will NOT be showing my hubby what he could've gotten at your house! haha! How beautiful the dessert was and how beautiful your photography is! dang! I'm so jealous! I used to do all that pretty stuff, and now I'm lucky if I get Pillsbury Cinn. Rolls out of the oven without burning them because I'm off in 90 directions....

Look to visit your blog!
