Happy Holidays, Only 5 Shopping Days to go!
It will be a mad dash to the end for me. A full week of work, shopping, wrapping, and baking still yet to be done. Even with that long list hanging over my head, I am still trying to take the time to enjoy the true magic of the season and all the blessings we have to celebrate this year!

A special thanks to Kim and Kate for sending Reagan the most adorable little mudpie Christmas dress! I could not wait for the holidays to get here so she could wear it! I also need to thank to my Sister In Law, Ann who sent multiple pairs of fancy little mudpie socks. As luck would have it, one of the pairs matched the dress perfectly!

Who knew my black distressed dining room table could double as a studio set up. I had Pat help me turn the table on it's side near the big window and used natural light and a little help from a reflector. I think I prefer the white foambaord background that I used for her bday pictures, but they were trashed from all the cake and I did not replace them yet, so I had to come up with plan b. This series is a little different for me and doesn't fit my usual style, but I think that the black worked well behind those bright and vibrant colors in her dress.

You are one resourceful momma! I'm loving the black backdrop. I hope you're able to slow down just a bit and enjoy this time of the year. I find myself getting overwhelmed with all that needs to be done and I don't sit back and take it all in.

It's amazing how big Reagan has gotten since I saw her in November. Her face has filled out even more. Love how all the yummy Italian food is doing it's job! ;-)

Happy Holidays to you and yours...

Hugs,
Grace

You are so clever! That black table looks great and I would never have thought to do that! I love seeing the dress on her...I was really afraid that it would be too big. Maybe she can still wear it next year with leggings too;) Your photos are beautiful. relax and enjoy the time and blessing of the season....none of the "things" matter.

The black photo background is elegant. I wondered how on earth you did it, then thought it must have been done in a photographer's studio. Love Reagan's darling dress and socks. She is smashing!
