Boys Building BLOG

Hmmmm How did you do that BLOG

Yuck, GIRLS BLOG

Arm around her sister BW BLOG

Time to go home BLOG

The little ones make a fierce foursome....and Nick is their fearless leader! The boys really look up to him and as soon as they walked in the door on Sunday, they begged Nick to bring down his old lego sets and help them build lego cars at the kitchen table. Nick being the goodt kid that he is, sat there for an hour buidling cars with all of them and they loved it.

Reagan was taking a nap when my nephews first arrived, but once she woke up, she wasted no time jumping right into the mix.

After lego buidling, it was Princess Puzzles, My Little Ponies, and Barbie's. I think Ashton and Aidan enjoyed playing with the Ponies and Barbies's more than the girls did.

The visit ended with my nephew Aidan melting down over the Barbie that Sarah was playing with. He wanted to take her home so he could brush her hair and Sarah was not giving up her favorite doll, so the waterworks began.

My Mom and I were trying to hide the giggles. The look on all of their faces when he began to cry was priceless. The the thought of this rough and tough little guy getting so upset over a Barbie Doll was so comical to us.

We told him we would buy him his own Barbie for his bday and then he could brush her hair whenever he wanted. I don't think his Dad will be too happy with us, but it certainly stopped the tears.

Something tells me that last photo might be one that makes it's appearance some day when Aidan is least expecting it and his Mom will embarrass him with the story behind it. A totally priceless moment caught by the camera!

The boys are coming over again this Sunday and I am thinking we might need to hit the Barbie aisle at Target before they arrive:)

These are those perfect moments that we often forget with time...but through your love of photography your family will forever be blessed...a picture worth a thousand words indeed!

(WonderBoy had an old Barbie that his cousin was willing to hand over....he loved it for about a day or two and then he was back on his Army toys...and years later when I found that Barbie at the bottom of his toys I laughed and laughed!

Gorgeous shots!!

Happy Weekend!

These are so funny Lisa! I know Liam is always wanting to play with Natalie's Barbies too. What is it with boys and Barbies? My favorite is the one of your nephew being forced to give Reagan a kiss with Grandma's help. Priceless!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I had oto comment regarding the picture of sara in the last post that you said you snapped before her 4 year dr apt.I just had to laugh becuase Mia turned 4 Oct 29 and I totally forgot about her 4 year check up and it was not until her preschool called and said she was missing some shots that I realized it. We literally just went to her 4 year check up yesterday. Totally funny-- 4 shots later- but it is done.

Love this!

BTW, sometimes I minimize your blog and just let the music play. So soothing and calming. Don't know if I've told you that before, but thanks for the "nap hour serenade"

The pictures are adorable.

I know it seems innocent but given how bullying begins I would not be inclined to pull out the last picture and embarrass the young boy later on in his life. I am speaking as an educator.

Adorable, Lisa!! You know how much I love cousin time!! Although they might fight over Barbies occasionally, they will grow up and be great friends and protectors of each other. So cute!

Lisa, these are great. Isn't Nick just the most wonderful boy? He really is very kind, patient etc
I just love the look on Reagan's face in the last one- talk about wondering what's up with him!
And I am forever amazed at how much more than 4 Sarah looks, especially in the last one.
It's lovely that they have each other.
Hope the classes went swimmingly, and have a lovely, relaxing and fun weekend, my friend.

I am sure he will laugh right with you when he is older! Those kinds of pictures are the most fun to look at later! My favorite is Grandma "helping" him kiss Reagan! :) I also love the music you have chosen for your blog! :)

So sweet! The joys of boys and girls growing up together. Tonight Tim is playing Legos with Eli. He got a new Ninja set. Sophia and I painted her nails and put sparkle on them. Life is good :)

What a fun play date with the cousins. I swear Sarah looks about 4 years older in the first picture with the Legos, I had to do a double take. I love Regan's piggie tails.
