The Candy Expert

December 14, 2008

Sarah took the name on her shirt very seriously....

IMG_7176
I found the treat jar that is hidden away.....this only comes out when I am a really good girl!!

IMG_7161
I must have been really good....these are even better than the usual M&M's that Mommy gives me as a bribe when she wants me to smile for the camera!!

IMG_7172
I love anything that is chocolate and I cannot stop with just one!!

IMG_7189
You are not going to take my jar away are you!!

IMG_7188
Please don't take it.....Can't I have one more? I will make the pouty face.....will that work?

Sarah has become quite the chocoholic these days!! It all started with the M&M's for potty training and it has been downhill since.....she is always on the lookout for chocolate or skittles.......she refers to them as "BEANS". When I saw this shirt a couple weeks ago, I knew it was perfect for her.....she is the quite the candy expert!!

It has been an absolutely crazy weekend....we have been going nonstop!! I am glad that over the past two weeks I had a bunch of posts that were started and pictures that were already taken....otherwise I would not be posting at all!! The days are just flying by and there doesn't ever seem to be enough hours in a day to get everything done!! Is anyone else feeling extremely overwhelmed??

Okay...better run....off to address Christmas cards and wrap gifts!!

Oh, yes -- I am completely overwhelmed this time of year. I am having such a pity patty party too without a computer. Cory finally caved and let me hijack his work laptop! What a guy!

Hope you have a great week!

Awwwww, if she made that face at me, she'd get all the candy she wanted. :) She is too precious!

And yes, right there with you on the overwhelming busy-ness of this season. My to-do list the week is nearing the point of ridiculous.

Lisa,

You have a girl after my own heart! I sincerely believe there can never be such a thing as too much chocolate. ;)

It sounds like you are getting very organized so you will really be able to enjoy yourself as Christmas draws near. Have a great evening.

Blessings,

Cute, cute photos of Sarah. Oddly enough, I am a candy expert, too. Although I don't need a shirt... it shows on my hips. Ugh!

Yes, I understand completely. I want to slow down and truly take in every moment of this miraculous season, yet there is never enough time on the day. So many things on our calendar; gifts to buy; cards to send; packages to wrap. I am looking forward to next week, taking some time off work and being able to relax and enjoy time together. Do you get to take time off over Christmas break?

Ok, the word verification on this post is: somblog ... I agree, this is SOME BLOG!!! : )

That is one cute candy expert if I do say so myself. She gives the cutest little expressions. She is such a hoot.

I see the Nutcrackers are in their correct placement in the background : )

Yes, girl, you know I am overwhelmed. I will be able to slow down and enjoy after Christmas. Oh well! Looking forward to January!
Hugs and have a great week!

Do they make that shirt in adult sizes?

Have fun doing your cards!

Lisa,

That is so funny. Mylee has the same outfit and the only reason I got the shirt is because she too is a cholohalic. We bribe her during her therapy with M&M's. Hey, whatever works. By the way, I think Sara and Mylee have the exact same outfits from Gap.

One of Amelia's first words was Chocolate - now she'd rather have an apple!

I am overwhelmed beyond compare!!
I finally wrapped some gifts yesterday and I only have a few more things to pick up. I got my cards out yesterday. I'm averaging 5 hours of sleep a night. I turned in the final project for my class a week early, but I still have this week's assignments to do. We haven't made a single cookie yet - and my family is celebrating Christmas a week from today!

Sarah is adorable as ever and I love her expressions looking at the candy...so cute. I bribe Will with M&M's too, in a store when I want him to behave, etc.

I'm getting overwhelmed with all the tasks that need to be completed in the next 10 days...yikes. I have tons of wrapping to do and have only done a little. Ugh. Better get busy.

Have a great week Lisa! Take some time for yourself too. :)

Oh my Gosh, I wish they had that shirt for adults. I'm known as kind of a candy freak in my family. Every time I go visit my niece, the first thing she asks me is "When are we going to the candy store"? Heh.

Love the pouty face. So cute.

Sarah's faces are a riot! She is such a ham! The shirt...adorable. It would be perfect in our house, too. We'd like to think we're candy experts ;)
Yep, I am way behind, too. Hence why I'm behind on posts. Your pics look awesome, as always hun! Hey, when you do your pics on Flickr, are you uploading the large big size or the medium size? I've tried the big size and it cuts off the right side of my pics. Think I need to widen my column or do you have another photo trick up your sleeve to teach me?!?
Merry December hun~ Les

Hang in there!
