Happy Chinese New Year

Ragan looking at her Chinese Name Collage
Reagan definitely seems to be doing much better. We can once again see that little twinkle in her eyes that was absent earlier this week.

Looking at the lantern collage
Since her spirits have lifted, we decided to bring out her red silks.

Chopstick Collage2
Red is found everywhere during Chinese New Year and other holidays and family gatherings.
It symbolizes good fortune and joy.

Officially Hit the Wall CNY Collage
Red is definitely her color:)

Two Chopsticks and Two Fingers Collage
She faded pretty quickly on me, but that's okay. Even when tired, with furrowed brows, and sucking those two fingers, I think she's as cute as can be.

Tonight we are celebrating Nick's birthday with our family, so we will officially welcome the year of the Dragon, next weekend!

From our family to yours, Xīn Nián Kuài Lè!

So beautiful. I didn't notice Reagan in the background of the chopstick photo until I read one of your other comments. I looked at these so quickly earlier this morning I missed that. Too cute! I agree...you always have such amazing details in your shots.

Happy Chinese New Year to you too!

It is so amazing to me how our eyes capture our mental and physical health. I hope she is back to her perky self soon. Is this a dress from your trip to China? I love the big red bow in her hair and you are right, red is perfect for her.

Love the pictures as always and glad to hear R is feeling some better.

You've inspired me and I can't wait to get home and dig out Ariana's Chinese outfits. I wish I'd bought more of everything while we were there!

Have a great birthday celebration :)

Happy New Year! :D

I am glad your little one feels better.

I read your previous post, about the cute panda. And the words "illness after illness" gave me shivers.

Because it happened to me too. Last year, from September until December.

It. Was. Awfull.

It seems that when a child is having cold after cold, it is a matter of the immune system. So we are trying to strenghten their immune systems with all sort of natural syrups. But the pediatrician told us it will be a long road. Results will come in time. :)

I wish you all the best!! <3
(I really enjoy reading your blog.)

SO HAPPY to hear she is doing better. Love these shots Lisa- I can't believe how grown up she is looking lately. Is it me or does she seem so much older now just over the past couple months? Amazing how quickly it goes by! (& I agree- red is definitely her color)

Dont you think it's high time you break that finger sucking habit? First off, it's disgusting. Secondly, at her age, it really should be stopped.

Love the pictures of Reagan with the chopsticks, it's as though she innately still has that connection (which I suppose she has).
She is beautiful! And yes, red is definitely her colour!
