Favorite Photo Friday - "Strawberry Fields Forever"

Sarah Walking with the Box of Berries BLOG COLOR MATTE
It was hotter than blazes out there last Saturday, but we did not let that stop us from picking one of most favorite summertime fruits.

The girls did a great job searching for ripe berries.

Reagan Looking Off in the distance Sarah holding the berry BLOG COLOR MATTE
It was the first day the fields were open, so a lot of other families had the same idea we did...

2 picking in the field with the basket of berries
and before long, there were people picking all around us.

Berry Farm BLOG
We barely filled one box and the girls were ready to get back into the air conditioned car....and to be honest, I was too.

Sarah and Reags Overlooking the Pond at the Strawberry Field BLOG COLOR MATTE
It was a quick trip and we didn't pick as many berries as I had anticipated, but that's okay. The farm is only a few miles from where we live so we will go back on a day that is a little less humid.

Looks like a cool front has moved in, so we are in for a beautiful weekend.
Hope you enjoy yours!

We are going this weekend, but according to our place the season is just about done. This is our last chance! We already ate all of the strawberries from our garden at home : ) . The girls look adorable!

I love strawberry picking! Sorry it was so warm. It is difficult to pick when it is so hot. That is how it is when we go blueberry picking in July. So hot! Hopefully you can go back soon on a cooler day!

Pretty pics!

Love the vintage feel of the first one...so pretty! I wish we had a strawberry picking farm that was close, now I'm hungry for them. ;)

Love, love, love this series. The girl's dresses are a....dorable! And the setting...oh goodness....just so pretty. Love the haze (tried a bit of it myself this week...in PS...thanks for inspiring!).

And it looks hot. Poor Reagan's hair is proof in the last picture. I'm glad things have cooled a bit for this week-end. Same with us up here.

Enjoy your week-end, my friend.

I love your strawbery picking photos. We've had a few berries in our garden but the birds keep getting to them before we do.

I love the colors in this set. I wish we had a strawberry field nearby. We will go up North and pick blueberries in a month or two :)

Oh how I love these Lisa. What a charming place & a great thing to go do with the kids. I am so yearning for these moments & there just isn't anywhere like that here.

I also wanted to say too- those 2 backlight photos of Sarah in the post announcing the class (I think it's the first & the second to last)- WOW they are beautiful. Really love them.

Have a great weekend Lisa!!

Precious. My cousin had an acre of strawberries and on their farm. So, I spent many summers picking them. That's great you live near by, because they don't taste the same at the supermarket.

Finally a few minutes to say hi. Lovely photos and LOVE those dresses! I have no idea why I live in the "Garden State" if I don't get over to berry pick myself, then again Wegmans' is easier in the heat lol.

Have a great weekend. Awesome images of the girls.
