......Each Brought To Us In Their Own Miraculous Way

IMG_2036
Over the next couple of days, I am going to dedicate a post to each of my children discussing how they were brought to us in very different ways, but both very miraculous in my eyes.

Many of you have asked about the cicumstances that led to Sarah's adoption, and although the details are very private and won't be shared, I would like to share some of what was going in our lives when she became a part of our family.

Once someone knows that Sarah is adopted, the next question I usually get: Is Nick your bilogical son? or is he adopted too? Nick is my biological son, but his life is just as much a miracle as Sarah's.

Some of you know that I was extremely sick when I was pregnant with Nick. I continued to fight through my battle with Cancer for the first 2 and half years of his life and with the love and support of my wonderful family, he has grown up to be a very compassionate and well rounded child.

I will be digging deep into my heart to share some of the fondest memories and special moments that make each childs journey unique and special!

The different paths that we take to bring our children into our lives and complete our families is just amazing to me.........I have experienced 2 very different journies and look forward to our 3rd and final journey to bring our last child to her forever family!

Please join me as I take a walk down memory lane!

Since I am a new reader of your blog, I had no idea you had battled cancer and I had wondered myself if Nick was adopted as well. However, I also understand it doesn't matter whether he is or not. Sarah and Nick are your kids. Period.

I am looking forward to strolling down that memory lane with you.

I'd love to have a pic of Sarah with a pony on the top of her head for my "Pokey Tail" slide show! ;O)

I know I just posted on your more recient post but I eraced what I wrote and wrote something else...I just wanted you to know I really admire your strength in what you went threw. My brother in law has a brain tumor and it is cancer, they did 6 weeks of radiation and chemo on him only to find out it hasn't really helped....they have found a couple of other spots that we don't know much about as of yet as they are waiting for some swelling to go down...I know he is fighting, but he is tired and he said he is not afraid to die....that last statment makes me really sad...I pray he has the strength that you had to fight this. I don't mean to pour out all over you, I just want you to understand how REALLY and truely blessed I am to read your sucess story. Bless you.

Ps. You were beautiful bald.
