Our Little Devil....

....Not The Red Guy That Likes The Heat
IMG_3876
Sarah's new ghoulish PJ's brought out the devil in her last night....the "Dare Devil" that is...

We have had this little horse since Christmas....she loved it, but just like every other toy that is brought into this house....the novelty has worn off and now it sits here collecting dust...

....Until last night!!

She brushed of the dust, but had no plans of riding her horse.......no siree....Sarah had a much grander plan!

IMG_3882

Last night the horse that bounces and spins was transformed into a "Balance Beam" right before our eyes!

IMG_3883

Pat and I watched this and started screaming "Get Down, You Are Going To Get Hurt".....but she just looked at us....and balanced....and balanced...

It's nights like these that I wonder how we have never seen the inside of an emergency room with this child...

IMG_3880
Do you think they got the hint??? I somersaulted myself silly last week and tonight I scared them with my makeshift balance beam.....Maybe they will finally get a clue and sign me up for gymnastics! Now I am off to find something in this house that I can use for "uneven bars"....if my little balance beam routine didn't do the trick, wait til they see me work the bars...

A special thanks to Jodee for sending Sarah these Halloween PJ's....they might bring out the devil in her, but they are adorable...Thanks for thinking of us!

What a hoot! Don't you just love how you could be telling them something and they just tune you out...oh it drives me crazy lol! I think you are going to need to sign her up for some classes...(before she actually does find some "uneven bars" at your house and starts swinging, but before you sart yelling at her to stop be sure to get her moves on film lol!)

She's definitely a gymnast!! And you won't have to worry about her getting hurt in a gym full of mats.
Jade's been doing gymnastics since she was 18 months old. She was doing crazy stunts just like Sarah!! You are bringing back some memories here...

Sarah looks adorable in her new PJs. Her purple curly bow looks perfect with them!

I agree with Jan -- you better get that girl signed up for tumbling! She would have a blast!

Oh my goodness, I think Sarah and Mia are the same child. We have that same little zebra and Mia stands on it, too. And she has been somersaulting all over the place since she came home. We're signing Mia up for "nastics" (as she calls it) which starts later this month. Sarah looks like she is so ready to start gymnastics, too!

Get that girl in gymnastics and FAST. Although, it's only going to help her figure out how to use more things to do stunts on:)

Yeah... unlike most, I would recommend AVOIDING gymnastics. Otherwise, she'll be climbing on the roof before too long.

Wow, I shocked you couild hold the camera still while watching her do that. Mine are soon to be twelve and nine and so I've been there, done that but it still leaves me un-nerved to to see children try things like that.

Perhaps the Olympics are in her future.

I can't believe you haven't seen the inside of the ER with her either :-) Now you have to find out if she'll like gymnastics classes - there is no way around it.

What a daredevil!! She was probably thinking "I know what I'm doing, Mom and Dad, don't bother me." At least that's what my daughter would be thinking! I also love your pumpkin patch photos! What a perfect day!!

Hi, this is the first time I have left a comment here. I have been here before because I have seen you around other blogs I visit.

You and your family are just so cute.

I will be back, and would love to add you to my blogroll if you wouldn't mind.

We've been in ER for stitches twice with Eli so far. And always on his face. One cut healed really well. The other is a scar that I doubt will ever be completely gone.

What can you do?

Heather said...

We have gymnastics on the brain around here too! I have been calling around trying to find the right match - I do have to say, your little Houdini is entirely too cute and those pjs are darling.

Here's to safe Sarah and channelling that energy into a gym!

Have a great rest of the week.
