4th of July Giveaway

July 4, 2012

Beyond_02
Today, I am super excited and honored to offer my photography loving readers a chance to win an extraordinary set of textures created by the very talented photographer, Sarah Gardner.

Beyond_01
As I continue to push myself and grow as a photographer, I have been trying to step things up. Even though I am teaching others the basics, I still try better myself, which is why I sign up for more advanced workshops and classes. Through some one on one mentoring I did with another fabulous photographer, Jen Carver, I was recently introduced to Sarah Gardner's dreamy products.

As soon as I downloaded my first set of Sarah's textures, I was instantly hooked.
When in the past I rarely found myself using textures, I now fight the urge not to use texture on each and every photo.

If you are not familiar with Sarah and her work, I highly suggest you stop by her website (HERE) and take a look. She is not only a photographer, but an artist. She has a true vision and her photos all tell a beautiful story. I am totally drawn to the dreamy and somewhat ethereal feel to her work.

She recently released a new set of textures called "Beyond the Lens", to accompany the soon to be released book called, "Art Beyond the Lens - Working with Digital Textures". The book is packed with techniques and tips that will help give your photos and extra edge. It is the perfect resource for turning your photos into vintage-looking works of art.
To find out more about her book, click HERE.

In effort to help spread the word about her beautiful new texture collection and the soon to be released book, Sarah has graciously offered a "Beyond the Lens" texture collection set for one lucky reader.

Beyond_03
This new "Beyond the Lens" collection comes with a total of 40 textures. It includes several of Sarah's favorite, and most popular Textures, from her other collections. Plus there are also 10 BRAND NEW Textures to complete the set.

Beyondtextures
Aren't they beautiful?

So here is what you need to do to have a chance to win!
Just leave a comment below and you will be entered. If you don't have a blogger account, please make sure you leave an email address so I can contact you should you win. I will keep it open until 11:59pm Eastern Time on Sunday, July 7th. At that time I will use Random.org to draw a winner. The winner will be announced early next week!

Happy 4th of July to all of my American friends.
We have a lot of our extended family coming over today and will have company all week! Thanks to my Aunt and Uncle who are traveling from Rhode Island, we will be enjoying a true New England style clambake. They are bringing big pots filled with Lobsters, Clams, Mussels, Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, and Chorizo. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I love me some textures! I used to lay them on pretty heavily, but have toned back and really love using them sparingly to give some soft depth to photos. Speaking of workshops...did you do the CM skin workshop? I remember chatting with you about skin issues a while ago, this workshop was a game changer for me! hope you had a great holiday!
