Ideas and Suggestions!

August 23, 2008

I have a couple different topics that I am going to roll into one post, so try to stay with me!

First, I am approaching my 100th Post...HOORAY! I wanted to do something special...not my average daily entry.....I have seen a couple people list 100 things about themselves, but honestly, I don't know if I could come up with 100 different things....that is a lot and I couldn't imagine writing it or reading it!

Since I am the one always choosing my post topics, I thought it would be fun to let you all tell me what you would like me to write about!

Any of you have ideas or suggestions for me?

I am completely open to suggestions and would love to hear what you can come up with. Please leave me a comment with your idea! If you come up with the winning idea....there is a little something special that will come your way...that part is a surprise!

Now that we have that taken care of.....More Fall Stuff!!!!

The other day when I filled my PB Jars, I remembered this container that I put out every is my favorite......I think it is the saying that I really love..."Autumn, A Season Of Change" This came from my sisters store....she owned a very chic boutique that sold home decor as well as some handbags, jewelry, and some cool clothes! We were so sad to see her sell the store, but she did it for good reason.....she is now the Mommy of two beautiful little boys!

Anyway, here is the completed look! When I brought it upstairs from the basement it was empty.....a quick trip to the store to pick out some fall flowers and I put this little arrangement together!

How ironic that the container says "A Season Of Change".......notice the new beach picture in the frame next to it.....somehow there is part of me that can't let go of summer. I am willing to move into fall, but not ready to forget about the summer fun just yet!

Have a great weekend!

I love that container. As I mentioned, fall is by far my very favorite season, but I cannot get into the mood until the temps hit below 70 ;-)

As far as ideas for your 100th post goes... how about finishing this: In 100 years I am hoping my grandchildren and great grandchildren will continue to learn the following family values I now share with my children:

I think you should do questions and answers for your 100th post! You already know my question -- how do you stay so skinny?!

Love your fall arrangement. It's perfect!

Love the fall flowers and container! So pretty!! I can't wait for the fall!

Now for your 100th post...I agree with Jodee, maybe you should do question and answers, my question -- how did you meet and fall in love with your husband?

Oh, and I too want to know how you stay so SKINNY!!!!!!!!! : )

I'm with Jodee, do a Q & A post.
I love the flower arrangement. Reminds me I need to pick my hydrangeas and fill some vases in my house.

Cool fall arrangement! You have such a knack for putting things together -- how do you do it??

I agree -- maybe a Q&A for your #100 post -- how do you manage to have such a lovely home, keep up with two kids and a husband, do great blog posts and stay so skinny??? Wow -- there's a few questions for you. Have a fun weekend!

I LOVE that arangement. You've got to be kidding me that you just stuck those in there...come one, tell us the truth...did you get frustrated getting them just right?

I like the question and answer idea. I'd like to know what type of job you have that allows you so much flexibility in hours and working from home:)

LOVE the flowers and container!

I think for your 100th post you should tell us about your experience as a professional BALLERINA! That is something to be very proud of!

P.S. ....and a picture or 2 would be great ;)

Q&A definitely... I'll be doing that our first week of school, since the husband will be out of town.

My questions - where are your toe shoes right now? what is your absolute worst memory from junior high school? what one value do you most appreciate that your parents passed along to you, that you strive to pass along to your children?

Question 1: How do you stay so skinny? I already know but everyone else is dying to know your secret!

Question 2: How much sleep do you average per night? I know you are a night owl!

Question 3: When you built your house, did you have an interior designer help you or are you just that good?!

What a neat fall arrangement! The saying is so perfect! That is an awesome idea to do a Q&A for your 100th post. Wish I'd have thought of that. Darn it. Maybe for #200 post!!! ;) I'll have to think of some ?'s!!! ~ Les

Your home is looking beautiful!

I, too, would love to know your family's Sarah Story, but that in itself could be quite a task!

And the ballet history is also intriguing!

Your 100th Post-yes, a big hooray! I think I'll reach my 100th post in about 10 years or so-LOL! I'll just sit back and wait for the Q&A to begin. My question for you is: How would you spend an extra $100.00?
Best wishes,
